Mas Montel Petit Syrah 2023

From a vineyard just outside Montpellier and sited on soils of limestone and clay this is a very approachable wine despite its relative youth. Blackcurrants, damsons, spice, and pepper all combine to produce a wine that has clearly been made by the winemaker with a great lightness of touch. The wine is well rounded and well balanced with elegant tannins. The quality of the fruit ensures that it delivers time after time.
