Old vine Garnacha fruit is sourced primarily from the Davall vineyard and is picked early (at the start of September usualy), to ensure acid, freshness and perfume are retained. This site gives grapes of a little more depth and drive whilst still delivering the fruit purity that is essential to the style of wine that this wine shows in the glass. El Garbi has rich red fruit aromas and flavours, with balanced tannins and subtle spice. Garnacha (Grenache) when it’s made in this very modern style is the Mediterranean’s answer to Pinot Noir and El Garbi shows all the finesse and elegance of Pinot but with more depth. Drink with poultry dishes, pork and fillet steak.
