Yves Cuilleron is one of the defining modern voices of the northern Rhône, Lyseras is a perfect window into his style. Since taking over his family domaine in the late 1980s, he has transformed it into one of the region’s most dynamic estates, championing precision farming, clean but expressive winemaking, and a deep respect for the character of each parcel. His whites, in particular, have become benchmarks: generous yet never heavy, textured but always driven by freshness.
Saint‑Joseph Lyseras reflects that philosophy beautifully. A blend of Marsanne and Roussanne, it opens with white peach, apricot, pear skin, acacia blossom and a touch of honey, all shaped by the cooler 2021 vintage’s natural lift. The palate is supple, subtly waxy, and quietly mineral, carrying enough richness to feel Rhône‑true while finishing with the clarity and tension Cuilleron prizes. It’s a wine that feels both crafted and effortless, very much the Cuilleron signature.
