Cas Amaro Duas Osgas Tinto 2023

A modern blend of Aragonez (Tempranillo), Castelao and Trincadeira from Portugal’s Alentejo region, east of Lisbon. Whilst not as famous as the northern regions Alentejo has the climate and terrain to produce premium wines, hence Cas’ Amaro’s recent purchase of a property here where they practice a lower intervention approach to wine making. One year of stainless steel ageing and 6 month bottle ageing before release. Ruby red in color with a nose of forest fruits. Very fresh on the palate with very round tannins.
