Andalucia’s most ambitious quality wine project yet is the innovative brainchild of Vicente Taberner, partner in the Sherry bodega Fernando de Castilla, a passionate wine enthusiast with a vision to produce top reds in the hills near Arcos de la Frontera, northeast of Cadiz. A heady concoction of flavours in a seriously impressive wine. Made from a blend of Tintilla de Rota 50%, Syrah 30% and Merlot 20%. Complex on the nose, this wine displays aromas of red berries, fig and aromatic herbs. In the mouth Barbazul is warm, powerful and flavoursome with balanced acidity and impressive structure leading to a persistent finish.
